  • Mindfulness

Mindfulness is paying attention to life in the present moment in a kind, non-judgmental way. Offerings for adults, educators, and children are available, as well as support for organizational implementation. Programs centered on the concepts taught in the Brown University Center for Mindfulness provide participants with tools to connect with their inner and outer experience in order to access their inner wisdom and increase overall wellness.

  • Organizational Consulting and Individual Coaching

Homes and schools can be places where individuals learn communication, self-regulation, team-work and healthy living skills to shift community cultures and climates. Shifting people's daily experience is how to create a world that works for us all. Learn tools and get organizational support such as coaching or consulting to create home, school, and business cultures that support healing, health and well being, as well as center justice.

Wellness

Wholistic wellness for adults has as its pillars physical, emotional, spiritual, social, occupational, environmental, financial, and intellectual components. Ideally, if one has had a balanced social and emotional education as a young person, one emerges with skills for healthy living in all these areas. A balanced life has similar levels of energy invested in each of these areas, resulting in a life where one is able to impact the world to achieve what one considers important and of value, while enjoying this life.

Mindfulness with a non-religious, stress reduction focus teaches adults to attend to the physical, emotional and environmental elements of their lives in the present moment in ways that give them insights into the spiritual, social, occupational, intellectual and financial parts of their lives in order to address them with their own innate wisdom.

Well teachers and well parents have skills that they can apply with artistry to living and working with young people.

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Social and emotional learning is a newer field of study for school-aged students. In recent years in the United States, federal and state laws have been passed that require schools to address developing these soft skills in students. Students that attend schools that have social and emotional learning programs embedded in them tend to score better on standardized tests. When a student feels emotionally comfortable at school, they are able to engage the part of their brain that stores new knowledge more often, and this can be measured.

Vision

To give individuals the tools to be healthy, creative, flexible, and effective members of the communities in which they live.
