In-person Course Details

New practices and activities of approximately 1.25-hours drop weekly on the learning platform for 4-weeks resulting in a total of 6 contact hours. Participants commit to an additional 2.5-hours per week of home practice.

Enrollees have access to the course on the platform and materials for a year. Upon course completion, a certificate with contact hours is issued via this platform to each participant.

Facilitator Jill Stansbury

Jill Stansbury is a Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction facilitator qualified by the Brown University Center for Mindfulness that has been running parenting and meditation groups for fifteen years. She has been a co-parent, extended family member caretaker, and classroom educator / school administrator for almost thirty years. Meditation has been a daily part of her life for over twenty-five years, and she looks forward to practicing with you. Her goal has always been to guide people to look at their strengths and learn additional tools to increase wellness. This course is part of her vision to share that approach with as many individuals, educators and parents as possible so that the world becomes a place that welcomes and cares for us all.

Pricing options

Accessing the resources on the portal is free. Enrollees pay $15 per class on site at the Bellingham Senior Center.
